Target Practice is a visualization of my experience with beginnings and endings, joy and disappointment, past and present, hope and redemption. This piece is constructed from repurposed materials including worn clothing, fabric scraps/offcuts, inherited textiles, and fiber projects put aside. As I composed something new from these scraps, they retrieved memories and stories for me, and added to the complexity to my improvisational process.
