Epoch #5, Two Truths is inspired by an ongoing dialogue I have with myself. This is where art and philosophical thought meet. I contemplate the importance of my work, the sacrifice and the dedication and pure joy of it, juxtaposed with the knowledge that this work is senseless or trivial in the totality of my life. This creates an inner struggle that is familiar and foreign. This conundrum is the genesis of my work.
