Our sense of decline is subtle but real. What is our place in the universe? What mark will we leave? In addition to communicating my feelings about aging, I was also fascinated by how I could show the gesture of my hand using textiles. Technology – printing my digital design on fabric – helped achieve this for me. I then extended my gesture marks in stitch with hundreds of hand-drawn discontinuous curved lines.
