Inspired by the laundry basket on p. 126 of the book Scrape the Willow Until it Sings by Deborah Valoma, this is the third in my Great Basin Basket series which honor the indigenous basket makers of the Great Basin. Fabrics altered by thickened dye and fabric paint were woven and fused together as one unit, creating a jumble of unexpected color combinations merging the basket with its contents.
